Integrated Management System Courses

An integrated management system (IMS) combines multiple management system standards into a single framework. Using the IMS approach, the management system is developed, implemented, and maintained via one system with processes that cover each standard’s requirements. Common requirements of each standard such as document control, internal audits, corrective actions and management reviews are addressed in a single framework to avoid duplication. Through there may be several combinations of combining management system standards but the most widely used system is the integration of ISO 9001 quality management system standard, ISO 14001 environmental management system standard and ISO 45001  Standard for Occupational Health and Safety Assessment System. Annex SL, developed by ISO, is an underlying framework designed to provide a standardized and consistent approach to implementation, ongoing maintenance, and continual improvement of a management system.

A robust IMS allows an organization to reduce duplication activities, saves time, reduces cost and enables an organization to fully understand its business context and stakeholder obligations and highlight business risks and opportunities.

Our Integrated Management System courses are based on an integration framework that combines ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards into a common framework. Our IMS courses are taught by highly experienced instructors with extensive auditing experience in all 3 standards.  Our IMS courses are very interactive in nature with emphasis on active involvement of participants in group-work, exercises, brainstorming sessions, on-going assessments and  case studies which will result in the participants’ developing a thorough understanding and skills for conducting internal audits for an IMS effectively.
